Professor José Luis Morín, JDProfessor Morin has been at John Jay College since 1998. His areas of academic specialization include domestic and international criminal justice, international human rights law, civil rights, Latina/o studies, and Latin American studies. He has several publications in this area and is the Chairperson of the Department of Latin American & Latina/o Studies and the Director of the Rosanna Rosado Fellows Program.

Gabriela Ramirez Vargas, MA
Gabriela Ramirez-Vargas is an adjunct professor at John Jay College. Ms. Ramirez-Vargas received her Master’s Degree in International Conflict Resolution from the School of International Service at American University in Washington, D.C., and a Bachelors Degree in International Relations from the Maxwell School of Citizenship and Public Affairs at Syracuse University in New York, with emphasis in Human Rights in Latin America and the Caribbean.
